In 2010 we presented the use of EMPT for the realization of sheet metal welded joints to the industry for the first time.
In addition to the typical features of the technology, the use of the EMPT is characterized by the additional fact that welding lengths of at least 2 m can be achieved, and sheet thicknesses from 4 mm down to a few micrometers can be welded atomically. This opens up completely new possibilities for the atomic welding of metallic mixed joints with an unbelievable cost-effectiveness.
